Why Aikido
Everyone has their own reason.
Most people don't begin by searching for Aikido. They begin by searching for something they feel is missing from their lives.
Greater confidence. Better balance. A healthier challenge. A supportive community. A practical martial art with depth and purpose.
Whatever your reason, Aikido offers a lifelong journey of learning through regular practice.

Our Dojo
A place to learn. A place to grow.
Every student's journey is unique.
Some people arrive looking for practical self-defence. Others are seeking greater confidence, improved wellbeing or simply the opportunity to study a traditional Japanese martial art.
Whatever brings you here, you'll find a friendly dojo where people of all ages and experience train together in a supportive atmosphere built on mutual respect, thoughtful practice and continual learning.
Our ApproachNew to Aikido?
Everyone starts somewhere.
Beginning something new can feel like a big step, but your first class doesn't have to be.
You don't need to be fit, flexible or fearless.
You don't need any previous martial arts experience.
Simply wear comfortable clothing, bring an open mind, and we'll guide you through everything else.
Your first lesson is an opportunity to experience Aikido, meet the instructor and ask any questions you may have—without any pressure or obligation.
